Lake Champlain Bluegrass Festival

Annual Fiddle and Banjo Contest - Sat. Aug. 09, 2008

The fiddle and banjo contest will be held Saturday (August 9, 2008) from 9:00 am to approximately 12:00 Noon. If you are interested in entering the contest, we advise that you send us your registration form early as the number of entrants will be limited to 50 participants (due to time restrictions).

Fiddle Champion Division (Any Age)
Fiddle Open Division (Any Age)
Fiddle Junior Division (14 and under)
Fiddle Trick & Fancy Division (Any Age)*
Fiddle Senior Division (60 years and older)
Banjo Open Division (Any Age)

* If you are a fiddle player, you may enter the Trick & Fancy Division and one of the other three Fiddle Divisions. This applies only to the Trick & Fancy Division.

Each participant will be granted free admission, which is valid for the entire festival, if you PRE-REGISTER and we receive your registration form on or before July 31, 2008. If we receive your registration form after July 31, 2008, participants will have to purchase event tickets and register on site beginning at 8:00 am. At 8:45 am, the registration will be closed and contest will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Event registration confirmation will be mailed to your home address.
