Camping and Facility Information

Camping

Camping area opens at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. We do provide FREE “rough” camping for the event! Camping is included in the full cost of a three-day ticket. Visitors are allowed but must have purchased a ticket for the day and leave when the main stage closes. No visitors will be allowed without the purchase of a ticket. The camping area is set up for tents, campers, and RV’s.  We have lots of space, therefore, reservations are not taken or required.  The camping areas are available on a first come first serve basis, so we suggest that you arrive early if you want to choose your spot.  We often get requests from folks to “hold” a special spot for them.  Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate these requests due to logistics and the amount of requests.

We suggest that you come fully prepared if you are camping, as this is an outdoor event come rain or shine.  At a minimum, we suggest you bring the following:  Camping gear, change of clothes, flashlight, rain gear, bug repellant, food, drinking water, cooler/ice, camp stove and portable chairs for the show.  Remember, please clean up your campsites completely before you leave! (Pack in – Pack out)

Bathrooms

We do not have running water on site.  We do provide portable toilets (including handicap accessible units).  We suggest that you bring enough water,  if you are camping, for cooking, cleaning, etc.

Food

The Alburgh volunteer Fire Department will serve lunch and dinner from 12 Noon to 8 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The AVFD will also serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. You should plan accordingly if you have special nutritional needs.

Alcoholic Beverages

Beer and wine only. Liquor will not be allowed, and we will not provide or sell any alcoholic beverages onsite.  NO GLASS CONTAINERS ON SITE.  There will be police both on and off site. If you are going to drink, be responsible as this is a family event. Camping with us is FREE, jail is not!!!

Pets

Sorry, we do not allow pets into the festival’s audience area.  If you are camping and must bring your pet, they must be walked in designated areas and leashed at all times. You are responsible for your pet’s waste, please dispose of properly. If you are coming to the festival for the day, we highly discourage bringing your pet. Please do not leave your pet unattended in a car. There is not any shade in the “day parking” area and is considered unsafe for any pet!

Smoking

Smoking will not be permitted in the audience area.

  • This is a family atmosphere, be respectful of others!
  • Obey all Staff requests.
